1. As we learn in Philippians 4:6-8, worry can be eased through prayer and meditation on God's truth. This week, read Matthew chapters 5-7 as often as you can, meditating on the Sermon on the Mount. If we can change our thinking and priorities to what Jesus teaches in this passage, how might that affect our worry, stress, and anxiety?


2. Read the Lord's Prayer, in Matthew 6:9-13. How is this prayer meant to overcome anxiety?


3. Read Matthew 6:19-34. How can you put this truth into practice to overcome worry in your life?

 

Challenge: Could you abstain from social media for 30 days, determining to spend that time instead in prayer, silence, and solitude with the Lord?
