Love Like Jesus

Why Serve?

We serve because Jesus first served us.

Whether it’s brewing coffee, holding open a door, leading a small group, playing an instrument, counting tithes, packing meals for starving kids, or flying to another country to show others the LOVE of Jesus, we are called, equipped, and commissioned to LOVE like Jesus by serving others sacrificially. This was the model that Jesus lived out and commands us to follow.

As followers of Jesus our lives should look like His life. We do this by:

1. Removing Prideful Forms of Superiority (Phil. 2:3-11)
2. Wrapping Yourself in the Clothes of Humility (Col. 3:12)
3. Sacrificing Your Preferences and Comfort for Others by Using Your Gifts to Build Others Up (1 Peter 4:10-11)

In the World

Jesus’ love knows no borders, so we GO, LOVE like Jesus globally alongside our mission partners around the world.

In the Church

Use your gifts to make this place welcoming, hospitable, and a bit smaller for others around our church.

In the Community

We Build Relationships, Share Burdens, and Share Jesus with our neighbors by serving them where they are because that’s how Jesus did it. Click below to learn how you can serve your neighbors in our community.
